Jarren found the love of cooking at a young age working in several local restaurants while attending High School. Upon the completion of High School, he moved to Kansas City in pursuit of not only an education, but a carrer in food service. Completing his Management degree in 2010, Jarren moved back to Joplin to pursue more knowledge and experience in the food service industry. Since moving back , Jarren has been the Assistant Guest Services Manager for Ruby Tuesday, a Sous Chef for Downstream Casino, Culinary Operations Manager for Red Lobster Restaurants, and the Executive Chef for the Joplin Elks Lodge. When not cooking in the industry, Jarren spends his time cooking in competitions around the Midwest. He cooks in regional chili cookoffs for charity throughout the year while also occasionally competing in the KCBS BBQ Circut. His blend of Classical Cusines and Techniques, BBQ, and Restaurant Experience is sure to make your event not only special, but unique.

Jon has been a lifelong resident of the community. A manufacturing design and facility manager for over 30 years, he has always had a passion for outdoor cooking. He has spent years supporting our local college football team by tailgating for over 20 years, creating unique creations. After spending over 5 years designing BBQ grills and smokers, a passion for BBQ was created, which led him to competing over 15 years in the BBQ contest circuit, winning several awards and placing in the top 50, twice, at the American Royal, the world’s largest BBQ competition. Jon has competed for over 15 years in CASI and ICS chili competitions, receiving several championships in local, state and regional competitions as well as several other food competitions with great success.
